Edward O. “Ed” Christy
Edward O. Christy, 86 of Kirksville passed away Thursday (December 3, 2009) at Macon Health Care in Macon, MO.
Ed was born October 13, 1923 in Kirksville, MO, the son of Eva Wilson. He was raised in the Quincy, IL and Kirksville area. He served in the United State Army during World War II. He drove a crane truck most of his working life.
He was a member of the V.F.W.. He enjoyed attending church, visiting with friends and driving the roads site seeing.
Ed is survived by several nephews and nieces.
Ed wishes were to be cremated and no service will be held. Interment will be at a later date in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.
