Billie Jo Grubb

Billie Jo Grubb, 50 of Kirksville passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

The daughter of George and Sue (Lafferty) Dawson, she was born June 9, 1971 in Columbia, Missouri. On December 24, 2004 in Kirksville she was united in marriage to Robert Grubb.

Billie is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons, Dustin Shelton and wife Dallas of Kirksville and Dakota Grubb of Kirksville; one daughter, Alexa Murray and husband Brandon of Kirksville; her father, George Dawson of Kirksville; 10 grandchildren, Miley, Jayden, Ethan, Isaac, Emily, Ennis, Wyatt, Aunna, Baxley and Eamon; one brother, Aaron and one sister, Michelle.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Vines; one son, Christopher; one brother, Kevin; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Julie Shelton.

Billie grew up in Kirksville and attended the Kirksville and Macon Schools. She worked as a C.N.A. in Edina, Paris, Moberly, Centralia, Macon and Kirksville. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved animals.

Billie will be cremated and no service will be held.
