Brian Fowler, 42, of Unionville, MO, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at his home in Unionville on Friday, October 19, 2018.
Brian Willard Fowler was born in St. Mary’s, Idaho, on October 5, 1976, the son of Lawrence Calvin and Marilyn (Hatfield) Fowler. He grew up in Centerville, IA, and Unionville, MO, and last attended high school in Moravia, IA. Brian suffered a health crisis at birth and was not even expected to live. He not only lived, but overcame other health issues in later years to live a very independent and productive life. Brian had a wonderful memory and a sharp mind. He worked as a telemarketer and was good on a computer. Brian enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and the Kansas City Chiefs. He also enjoyed comedy movies. Even though Brian was a private and reserved person who was uncomfortable in crowds, he loved his family deeply.
Brian is survived by his mother, Marilyn Kellison, of Queen City, MO; and his siblings: Carolyn (Joe) Roy of Unionville, MO; Kenny (Teresa) Branscomb of Worthington, MO; Brad Lee Fowler of Livonia, MO; Denise (Jeremy) Hawk of Moravia, IA; and Tony and Todd Fowler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Brian was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service for Brian Fowler will be held at Omaha Baptist Church in Putnam County, MO, at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 27, 2018. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
