Brian Keith Ruggles

Brian Ruggles, 63, of Kirksville, passed away in his home on Saturday, April 5, 2025. 

Brian was born on Jaunuary 28, 1962 in Kirksville to Barbara Saulter (Ruggles/Jones) and Burnery (Bill) Ruggles. He is survived by his Mom of Macon, one sister Sheila (Bob) Wilcox, and three brothers Shawn Ruggles, Bill Ruggles Jr, and Woodrow (Alison) Saulter Jr, his granddaughter Marissa Wilcox, a special granddaughter Kayla Lush, his step Mother Dorothy Ruggles, step sister Darla (Murl) Lusher along with several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews. 

Brian was proceeded in death by his grandparents Everett and Maude Ruggles, Cleo and Helen Jones, his Dad, Bill Ruggles, a brother Kevin Ruggles, and both of his sons, Adam and Matthew Ruggles, one step brother Alan Rowland , and several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. 

Brian was known as the car wash guy. He worked at the Shoe Factory until its closure and several other jobs. His last job was at Kraft, until his health kept him from working. Brian had a hear of gold and would help anyone! After the loss of both of his sons, life got the better of him and his health proceeded to get worse. He will be missed more than he could ever know. 

A celebration of Life will be July 19, 2025 at Thousand Hills State Park Point Shelter for both Brian and his brother Kevin. Brian will be buried along side his brother Kevin, who passed away on January 14, 2025 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Macon, MO.
