Danny Leroy Bowers

Danny Leroy Bowers passed peacefully at home on March 26, 2024, adding a sweet soul to Heaven’s population.  He was born to Orville and Lila (Bergman) Bowers on March 3, 1959 in Kirksville, MO.

A lover of music, geography, and food, Danny was a quiet, curious observer of everything around him.  We will miss his gentle way and his little jokes.

Danny was predeceased by his parents; his brothers Richard and Ronald Bowers; his sister-in law, Linda Bowers; and his niece, Ali Neal (Bruce).  He is survived by his sister-in-law, Joyce Bowers; nieces Amy Gaffney (David), Stacy Bowers, and Kelly Bowers (Mark Bauridl); his nephews Paul Mountain (Krista) and Eric Bowers (Carrie Watkins); and multiple great nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held on Monday, April 1st, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Park View Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held an hour prior, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Kirksville, MO.
