Debra Ann Pawling, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on July 25, 2026. She was born on May 9, 1954, in Kirksville, Missouri, a place that shaped her roots and which she always held dear.

Debra’s early years in Kirksville were spent surrounded by the love and guidance of her parents, Edward and Charlene Coin, who preceded her in death.

A woman of dedication and strong work ethic, Debra forged a meaningful career in sales within the agricultural sector, working diligently in Trenton and Kirksville, Missouri. Her commitment to serving her customers and her community was evident in every interaction. Later, she brought her talents to real estate, where she worked in Bethany and Maryville, Missouri.

Above all else, Debra’s heart belonged to her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, John Pawling of 39 years, whose partnership and love have been an enduring constant. Together, they built a warm and welcoming home, raising children who became the center of her world: Bransen Bloskovich, John Pawling, Gretchen Stephens, Heather Massey, and Jenny Hunter. Each child carries forward aspects of Debra’s character—her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.

Debra’s legacy continues through her brothers, Danny Coin and David Coin, who fondly remember her steadfast loyalty and nurturing presence.
