Harold Wallace Potter JR

Harold Wallace Potter Jr. was born on December 12, 1959, in Casper, Wyoming, and peacefully departed this life on December 6, 2024, at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri. He lived a life enriched by his passion for music and the joy he found in spending time with his family and friends.

Harold was the beloved son of the late Harold Potter Sr. and the late Ruth Gibson. He also mourned the loss of his brother, Johnny Joe Potter, and his son, Shaun Potter.

Left to celebrate his memory are his  daughters, Felicia Sprous, Lois Potter, and J'Nessa Potter and a son Eric Potter. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Peyton Sprous, Noah Sprous, Havyn Patterson, and Averi Potter. Harold is also survived by his loving sisters, Debbie Rogers and Karen Berry, who held a special place in his heart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who he loved spending time with.  

In addition to his family, Harold was never without his loyal companion, Precious, his cherished dog, who stayed by his side through both joyous and challenging times.

Harold’s zest for life, his love for music, and the warmth he shared with those he loved will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts and minds of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
