Lawrence Tetrick

Lawrence W. Tetrick, 85 passed away Sunday (November 25, 2018) at Cox Hospital in Springfield, MO.

The son of Harold H. and Margaret (Way) Tetrick, he was born December 9, 1932 in Winfield, West Virginia. On May 3, 1971 in Kankakee, IL he was united in marriage to Linda L. Young.

Lawrence is survived by his daughter, Joyce (Dave) Easley of Ocala, Florida; three grandchildren, Patrick (Samantha) Tetrick, Timothy Juricic and Samantha Easley; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda; and four brothers, James, Harold Jr., William and Glenn.

Lawrence grew up in West Virginia. He served his country in the United States Army serving in Germany. He worked for a glass bottle manufacturing company and then for a paper bag company until he retired. He moved to LaPlata, MO in 1994 to make his home.

He was a member of the American Legion, AARP, Senior Circle and a proud union member.

Burial will be in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.
