Lucille McIntyre passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019, in Kirksville, Missouri.

Lucille was born on July 31, 1920 in Kirksville. She was the daughter of Alma and George Scrivens. Lucille married Frank H. McIntyre on May 11, 1939 in Brashear, Missouri.

She is survived by her children: Frankie H. McIntyre, Jr. of Kirksville, Missouri and Ellen Sue Sireno and husband Peter of Albany, Georgia; her five grandchildren: Mark McIntyre, Lisa Sireno and husband Jonathan Henry, Felicia Sireno, Mitzi Limback and husband Jeff, Maria Sireno Bullman and husband Jonathan; eight great-grandchildren: Candice McIntyre, Jennifer Payne and husband Garrett, Ashlyn Sireno, Madeline Limback, Ella Limback, Sophia Bullman, Isabella Bullman and Talia Bullman; and many nieces and nephews.

She was married to her husband Frank for 66 years. In 2005, he preceded her in death. Lucille was also preceded in death by her parents George and Alma, her daughter-in-law Ruth Ann McIntyre and her siblings Laura Drennan, Clifford Scrivens, James Scrivens and Wanda Dee Scrivens; and her half-brother George Scrivens, Jr.

Lucille grew up in Kirksville and graduated from Kirksville High School with the class of 1938. She was a Jewel in the El Kadir Shrine Club and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was employed at McGraw Edison for several years. After retiring, Lucille spent many hours with her grandchildren and began working at the craft store in Kirksville for fun. Along with crafting, she enjoyed antiquing, gardening, beekeeping, socializing and playing cards with friends. Lucille cared for many pets over the years. She was a member of the Union Temple Church community.

She was well known for her wonderful cooking and for spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lucille loved the farm she shared with her husband, Frank, and the time she spent with family and friends.

Share memories of Lucille with her family at the visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 24 the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Chapel in Kirksville and burial at Union Temple Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Lucille may be made to the Union Temple Cemetery.
