Marguerite Lenora Robison

March 28, 1936 — June 15, 2025

Novinger

Marguerite Lenora Robison, 89, of Novinger, Missouri, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025.

Born March 28, 1936, in Adair County, Missouri, Marguerite was the daughter of Domenic and Mary (Brugioni) Amidei. She graduated from Novinger High School in 1955 and went on to work for the shoe factory and McGraw’s. In time, she dedicated herself fully to her greatest passion, homemaking. Marguerite took tremendous pride in caring for her home and family, and her warmth and devotion created a space where everyone felt welcome and loved.

Marguerite was united in marriage to Bill Robison, with whom she shared a full and loving life before his passing. Together they raised three children: Debra (Gary) Foreman, Lora (the late Terry) Gosney and Brent Robison. Her family was her pride and joy. She was a beloved grandmother to Tara (Tyler) VanWye, Bryce Robison, Bryant Robison, and Hunter Robison, and a treasured great-grandmother to Talon VanWye.

After Bill’s passing, Marguerite stepped in to continue operating the family business, Robison HVAC, a role she carried with determination and care, ensuring his legacy of hard work and service to the community endured.

Marguerite is also survived by her brother, Domenico “Joe” (Phyllis) Amidei, and by many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were touched by her kindness and strength. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her infant sister Teresa Marie Amidei, and her sister Rose Marie McCarty.

Marguerite enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, watching her soaps faithfully for years, finding joy in a shopping trip, playing the slots at the casino, and sharing her famous red velvet cake with family during holidays and special gatherings.

Pallbearers will be Brent Robison, Bryant Robison, Hunter Robison, Gary Foreman, Danny Amidei, and Kendall Peterson. Honorary pallbearers include Domenico “Joe” Amidei, Bryce Robison, and Tyler VanWye.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Heather Graham and the devoted staff of the Monterey Wing at The Pines for their loving care and support shown to Marguerite.

Services will be held at Playle-Rimer-Millard Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 20th, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at noon. A graveside service will immediately follow at Novinger Cemetery.
