Ramah Louise Dean, "Louise", born December 5, 1933, in Milan, Missouri, passed away on April 2, 2026, in Kirksville, Missouri. A woman of warmth and generosity, Ramah was celebrated for her devoted career as a nurse, where she found profound joy and purpose caring for others. Her fun-loving spirit brightened the lives of those who knew her.
Louise cherished her connections to family, friends, and community. She held a special place in her heart for the Nemo Car Club, sharing memorable travels alongside her beloved husband, Ewing. An avid collector, she had an enduring passion for antique plates, delighting in discovering unique treasures at auctions.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ewing; her parents, Leland and Peble (Cochran) Jennings; her niece, Brenda Buckley; her brother, Kermit Jennings; and her sister-in-law, Shirley Jennings, as well as many other dear loved ones and friends.
Louise's legacy is carried on by those who cherished her presence: her niece Linda (Danny) Lynch, her great nephews Tim (Shanna) Lynch and Tony Lynch, great nieces Katelyn (Gage) Helton, and Sarah Buckley, her friend Pat (John) Lee, and numerous other beloved family members and friends.
A visitation to honor Louise’s life will be held on April 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by her funeral service from 11:00 a.m., both at the Playle Rimer Millard Family Funeral Chapel, located at 2100 E Shepherd Ave, Kirksville, Missouri 63501. These gatherings will offer a moment to remember and celebrate a life marked by kindness, dedication, and spirited joy.
Ramah "Louise" Dean will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her, yet her caring nature and joyful soul will live on in the memories of everyone she touched.
