Sandra Kay Pulliam

Sandra Kay Pulliam, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on August 19, 2025, at the Schuyler County Nursing Home. Born on April 2, 1946, Sandra lived a life filled with passion and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A proud graduate of Greentop High School, Sandra exemplified hard work and determination throughout her life. She established her career by working for herself, embodying both independence and entrepreneurial spirit. Sandra was known not only for her professional endeavors but also for her strong family bonds and her deep love for the outdoors.

In her leisure time, Sandra found immense joy in fishing, boating, and gardening activities that allowed her to connect with nature and foster cherished moments with her loved ones. These hobbies reflected her spirited personality and zest for life.

Her family will remember Sandra with love and admiration. She is survived by her significant other, William Brown, and her sons, Ben (Nikole) Pulliam and Todd (Dawn) Lawson. She was also a proud grandmother to her grandchildren, Tyeler Lyons and Drew Lawson, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy and pride.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Glen Peterson and Abbie Hatfield, who undoubtedly instilled in her the values of perseverance and love that she carried throughout her life.

As we remember Sandra Kay Pulliam, we celebrate the warmth and kindness she shared with everyone around her. Her legacy will continue to live on in the memories of her family and friends, who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

A celebration of life service will be held on August 30th from 4:00-7:00 at the Greentop Park, with food and refreshments available. Memorials may be left to the Greentop Park.
