Kirksville, MO

Tricha Nicole Morton-Stamper, a radiant soul whose loving nature and humble spirit touched all who knew her, passed away on April 19, 2026, in Columbia, Missouri. Born on March 15, 1988, in Kirksville, Missouri, Tricha’s life was a tender melody of joy, kindness, and a deep appreciation for the simple, beautiful moments that weave the fabric of our existence.

From the heart of Kirksville to the embrace of family and friends, Tricha’s presence was marked by warmth and a joyful love for life's little pleasures. She had a sparkling personality that made her love of bling and jewelry more than a style, it was a reflection of the light she carried within. This love extended beyond possessions; she delighted in the act of giving and thrived on sharing love in every possible way. Her affection for music and dance brought her great happiness, especially when her Dad played guitar, serenading her with "You Are My Sunshine," a cherished lullaby that filled her heart with comfort.

Tricha’s passions were as colorful as her spirit. She loved to bowl, embraced the vibrancy of dances, and treasured moments like attending the Night to Shine event by Tim Tebow. Her favorite shows, Austin & Ally and The Golden Girls, highlighted her playful and affectionate nature, a reminder of her love for laughter and companionship.

Her parents Gary and Linda Stamper, remain her devoted living family, along with her siblings, nieces, and nephews, carrying forward the legacy of love and joy Tricha cherished so deeply. She joins her late mother, Caroline McClamroch, and her grandparents, Harvey and Helen Rogers, whose memories are woven into her story.

On April 23, 2026, an interment will be held at Refuge Cemetery in Kirksville, Missouri, at 2:00 PM, where Tricha will be laid to rest. In this final resting place, amongst the whispers of the wind and the gentle embrace of the earth, her memory will dance on, in every sparkle of light, every note of a beloved song, and the endless love she so freely gave.

Tricha Nicole Morton-Stamper’s life, though too brief, was a testament to the beauty of humility, the richness of a kind heart, and the enduring power of love. The chains she bore in this life have been broken, and she is now free, whole and at peace in the presence of the Lord.
