Virginia Bailey
November 8, 1941 — March 10, 2021
Virginia Elaine Bailey, age 79, of Kirksville passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at her home.
The daughter of O.G. and Blanche (Crawford) Riley, she was born November 8, 1941 in Kirksville. In 1961 in Joliet, Illinois she was united in marriage to Wayne Bailey.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Wayne; four children, Jerry Bailey of Danville, IL, Joyce Cheers of Lamar, MO, Mike Bailey and wife Jani of Greentop, MO and Tonya Bailey of Kirksville; seven grandchildren, Jessica Bailey, Allison Crabb, Jeffrey Bailey, Terry Cheers, Kimberly Raper, Autumn Bailey, and Samantha Kulik and four great grandchildren, Ruby Jane, Andrew Raper, Shawn Raper and Hunter Cheers.
Virginia was a talented seamsters and quilter and was a good cook.
Virginia was cremated and there will be a private family service.
